AE QUINN is a writer, producer, and director. He made his directorial debut with “Misfortune.” Quinn has worked creatively in the political arena for several years through his love of film and its potential to cause positive changes in the world. He fell in love with the movies as a child. Movies like E.T. the Extraterrestrial, Jurassic Park, and Back to the Future were his favorites growing up. As a filmmaker, he is proficient at creating narrative films and documentaries. After earning undergraduate degrees in information systems and film, Quinn graduated with a Master of Science in Entertainment Business degree from Full Sail University in 2024.
With skills in accounting, finance, deal and negotiation, and leadership, QUINN is a well-rounded and experienced filmmaker. The role of the director is that of a central collaborator. My job is to keep the different departments informed and on a single path to telling our story. The director wears many hats during production and can sometimes act as an editor, producer, cinematographer, and other departments.
Without a clear understanding of the story, the production crew can veer off-track, and the story can end up being disconnected or confusing to the audience. There are also several logistical feats that the director should be aware of. If absent, production decisions can lead to failure.
We hope that preparing for the worst will allow us to complete our films and tell the best story. To quote President Reagan, “The future doesn’t belong to the fainthearted; it belongs to the brave.”
